Welcome! I’m glad you’re here :) I’d like to take a second to introduce myself, my name is Sabrina Viramontes. I’m a first generation Latina therapist and the oldest daughter of the eldest son, so you know what that means… *Raise your hand if you can relate!*

As I have navigated life and my career, I’ve learned how to recognize intergenerational trauma and how it presents in my daily life. I am still on this journey of discovery, unlearning and relearning, as I am human, just like you. It takes a continuous and conscious effort to stop the cycle. I hope to help you do the same.

I find joy in the small things in life such as cuddling with my dog and husband, belly-laughing at family bbq’s, getting a good glute-pump at the gym, savoring my favorite foods and taking in the sounds, smells and feels of nature. Developing deep and meaningful emotional connections is important to me in my personal life and it’s how I like to show up professionally in my work with clients as well.

  • Professional Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 8 years of experience working with diverse populations. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Whittier College in 2014 and my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2015. “Fight on!”✌🏽

I have gained my social work and therapeutic experience by working in the Child Welfare System and in Community Mental Health since 2014 and now, in private practice. I have had the pleasure of serving diverse populations including Black and Hispanic children, adolescents and families, Immigrant/undocumented children and families and women in domestic violence relationships. Most clients I serve are dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, self confidence, loss of identity, life/career transitions, communication difficulties, and imposter syndrome.

I truly enjoy helping my clients return home to themselves.
