FAQs

  • At this time, I do not provide in-person therapy. All sessions are held via online video telehealth for all residents of California.

  • My private practice is considered fully private pay or out-of-pocket. This means I do not bill insurance directly. If you have out-of-network benefits I can provide you with a special invoice called a Superbill, in which you may receive partial reimbursement directly from your insurance. My current full fee is $185 per 50-minute session. If I am not a fit for you financially, no worries! I would be happy to provide you with quality referrals from my network of experienced colleagues.

  • The length of therapy varies from person to person. Once you get started, you will collaborate with your therapist to talk about your needs, wants and goals and will continually check in for progress along the way, modifying when needed. Remember, therapy is always your choice.

  • Yes, in fact, it’s welcomed! Talking about racial, social, and economic injustices can be a heavy weight to carry on your own. I encourage you to share your experiences in session and relieve yourself of that burden, even for just a moment.

  • I do understand and speak Spanish and encourage you to use it interchangeably in session if that feels good for you. Unfortunately, at this time, I do not provide full therapy sessions in Spanish due to my level of clinical fluency.

  • You may follow me on any professional social media accounts at your own risk. I don’t follow, friend, comment, respond, or make other similar connections on social media with clients. This is to protect your confidentiality and privacy. Please note, this is not a way to contact me for any reason, especially an emergency.
